Rev. Matthew Christians, who usually goes simply by Pastor Matt, has been our pastor since 2018. Born in Iowa, raised in Traverse City Michigan, he earned a B.S. in Biology at the University of Michigan before enrolling at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis.

He has served parishes in Salem OR, Edgar WI, and De Pere WI. He is also the pastor of our sister parish, St. Paul's in Birnamwood.

Pastor is married to Maggie and they have six children: Isen, Enoch, Keenen, Genevieve, Naomi, & Ambrose (pictured below)

Seen above in his natural habitat (i.e. with Bible and coffee cup), some of his hobbies include gardening, hiking, exercise, piano and guitar. He is also an active volunteer with the Ice Age Trail.
